The brand positioning is clear: get a UL 2272 certified scooter at the lowest price possible. Gotrax is never going to compete with Apollo, Unagi, or the premium Segway Super models on build quality or features. They compete on $300 GXL V2 vs. $800 entry-level Segway, and they win that fight most of the time.

If you are torn between the XR Pro and the G3, buy the XR Pro and save $50. If you are torn between the G3 and the G4, buy the G4 — the extra $150 gets you 6 miles of range, 4 inches of tire diameter, app connectivity, and a better controller.
